Gerontology Nursing
Students may further their studies through admission to an online or onsite Master of Nursing program. The course aims to bring the students’ care skills to an international standard by providing advanced theory and practice nursing skills and knowledge.

Gerontology Nursing
The population of the world is ageing, with the elderly representing an increasingly significant portion of the total population. With that in mind, this course will help you develop the necessary skills to manage chronic conditions, dementia as well as end-of-life care for complex aged patients.
The course will improve your modern health practices by offering evidence-based care that is safe, ethical, professionally sound, and regulatory compliant. Moreover, this course will help you acquire skills in leadership and in the scientific, psychological, and sociological aspects of aging.
The course is conducted online, accompanied by a practice requirement in supervised aged care placements throughout the duration of the course.
The Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing is also a pathway for students who wish to study a Master of Nursing degree at Australia, either on campus or via the Internet.

Utilizing one's problem-solving skills, and effective communication skills in the evaluation and management of nursing care given to geriatric patients within the healthcare systems.
Analyze critically the roles and responsibilities and the area of employment of the geriatric nurse in aged care environments.
Demonstrate leadership in multidisciplinary teams caring for patients in aged care to ensure high-quality therapeutic treatment to the patients.
Examine the legal, ethical, social, cultural, and political factors that are relevant to the rendering of person-centered care regarding healthcare services provision.
Identify and assess evidence-based nursing interventions appropriate for clients in gerontology or geriatric nursing practice.
